Iraqi & American the first investment Conference for works and investment has held in Washington on 20/10/2009  in attendant  Prime minister who headed a delegation included  number of ministers.

Prime minister has confirmed that the security and economical development  are one way to succeed the investment and all Iraqi cities became competitive cities to attract the Global Investment Companies.

AL Maliki  has stressed that Iraq has became Democratic Estate under law & constitution and there many Investment opportunities wait the American  businessmen & investors as well as enter in a strategic partnership with USA.

Dr. Sami AL Aaraji N.I.C Minister  has opened the Conference in speech to announce about (750) investment opportunities in (12) sectors and he showed the role of M.I.C to provide all facilities to the investors .Also he encouraged to make common strategic between Iraq and USA.

 Dr. Sami AL Aaraji  has stressed on the role of private sector to strength the economic sector in Iraq and create success  investment climate. From the other side Dr. Al Aaraji announced about made a committee to observe the results and collect the questions and difficulties that faced the investors in Iraq also he promised to put the best solutions and provide the facilities through the one stop shop Department.

Mrs. Hilari Clinton the minister of American foreign has showed her pleasure to attend of the   large number from the investors , businessmen and American Companies then she expressed about USA 's desire to participate  in reconstruction of Iraq.
