The Local Government and M.I.C has held  a common journalist  conference in the province Council to announce the results of the last visit to Baghdad through the meeting with the vice-president Dr. Adil Abdul Mahdi and the minister of finance Mr. Baqer J. AL Zubaidi On 24 Jun 2009.They  coordinate with the central Government to activate many subjects like (security , services , investment , drought and leakage the water ) in Al Muthanna and  other provinces.AL MUthanna Governor Mr. Ibrahim AL Mayali declared for many projects that discussed with the central Government , The one of them was opening a branch of American University. Also Al Mayali  said  will form a common committee from the local Government and central Government to appoint the Oil wells in the province so as to exploit them and benefit from the ministers Council decision by set a half dollar per oil gallon for the province which produce oil. And Al Mayali declared about the agreement with minister of finance to open the fund for AL MUthanna province and increase the ratio from (20%) to (50%) in addition to starting the complement budget and reached  to (56000.000.000) Iraqi Dinar.He refers to implement  many strategic projects in the province like large swages projects and the essential design for the province as well as paving the roads and bowing road project.Dr. Abdul Lattif H. AL Hassany announced that at beginning of 2009 the work in the road between TheQar and Al Qadissya passing AL Muthanna province started  as well as housing units that will be implement by housing Ministry and he  added that complement agreement with  Indian Rad internationals Company has completed  to set up two electricity stations with full capacity reach to (500MW).AL Hassani referred to the importance of the meeting with Vice-president who showed his care in AL Muthanna particularly to develop  agricultural reality and he confirm to exploit the wide lands and the artisan water to set up many projects like modern village in AL Salman district.The president of Al Muyhanna province Council declared that AL MUthanna is stricken by drought province cause to the shortage water and he asked the central  Government and the ministry of water sources to find the fast solution and provide the facilities for this problem and he called for to confirm committees for coordination with the other provinces to distribute the share of water between that provinces.
